Inspire Impact Ideathon

Overview

Inspire Impact Ideathon, funded by the Shared Island Fund, is a unique 4 week hybrid idea development programme designed to foster creativity and innovation among students. In collaboration with Queen’s University Belfast and Trinity College Dublin, this ideathon aims to create an inclusive space for students from all disciplines to develop creative solutions that address pressing social challenges.

If you wish to participate in this challenge, please RSVP and attend the kick-off event at either Trinity College Dublin or Queen’s University Belfast.

Problem Statements

This year’s innovation challenges are based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations. Participants are invited to innovate around the following SDGs:

Badge Prizes

All participants will receive an Open Incubator Badge, recognising their contribution to collaborative innovation and systems change.

Winner Badge

Open Incubator Winner Badge is a distinctive recognition of entrepreneurial excellence by showcasing exceptional innovation in front of judges during the Innovation Challenge Demo Day.

Presenter Badge

Open Incubator Presenter Badge is a special acknowledgment of entrepreneurial experience, specifically tailored for students who have submitted innovative ideas and received recognition by judges for the Innovation Challenge Demo Day.

Practitioner Badge

Open Incubator Practitioner Badge is an acknowledgment of entrepreneurial courage for students embarking on their entrepreneurial journey. This badge is specifically designed for all students across Ireland who actively engage in Open Incubator activities, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship.
